If like myself you have a long coated and dog and despair at the thought of the summer moult, and furballs on the carpet like tumbleweeds in the desert. Despair no more no its not a miracle cure for doggy hair loss just a clever invention called a FURminator, used daily as part of the dogs grooming sessions the Furminator removes all the dead undercoat and loose fur.
For my Long haired Holly i have the My Furst Furminator which features and interchangeable brush and slicker comb, ideal for a puppies delicate skin or small dogs, holly is a cross standard dacshund and we feel this size is just right for her and she loves having her fur combed, (must be such a relief) to lose all that unwanted hair.
As you can see in the picture the brush is full of hair and this was after just a couple of minutes use of the FURminator.

I would recommend this grooming tool to anyone with a long haired dog or puppy as the amount of hair it saves going on the carpet is pretty unbelievable, and as you can see Holly loves her pamper sessions too.

The Furst Furminator comes in 3 pieces the handle and the interchangeable slicker comb and brush.Soft slicker brush features specially designed bristles with angled tips^Curved comb features a special contoured shape and spacious teeth for gentle combingPush button to easily change grooming attachments.

The Furst Furminator retails for £14.66 and there is various other models available there is a dog shedding tool for larger dogs, and also a cat variety, and a short haired furminator for short haired dogs.
